Prayer Intentions
March 1: For an increase in vocations to the priesthood, religious life, and married life. Bishop Baraga inspired more than 17 Seminarians to follow him to the New World to preach the Gospel.
March 2: For a greater respect for marriage between one man and one woman.
March 3: For first responders and emergency service personnel.
March 4: For anyone experiencing hearing loss or problems. “I was deaf again this morning, but not for long, thanks be to God!” Bishop Baraga, February 2, 1863.
March 5: For the lonely. May they feel the love of God surrounding them.
March 6: For employees. May they be appreciated for their service, and may they always do a fair day’s work for a just day’s pay.
March 7: For an end to human slavery.
March 8: For travelers to reach their destinations safely.
March 9: For our priests and the church. “Love your church home – it is God’s house on earth; if you do so, someday you will enter your heavenly home.”

March 10: For individuals with chronic illness. May they find support and relief from the challenges they are facing.
March 11: For truckers who deliver our food and goods. May they be safe on their travels and be appreciated by all they serve.
March 12: For an end to war. May peace flood our world and influence all future decisions.
March 13: For an increased devotion to God. “My dear children, examine your heart to see if you long for and are devoted to God.” -Bishop Baraga
March 14: For an increase in prayer. Venerable Bishop Baraga prayed three hours a day, rising at 3 am or 4 am to spend time with the Lord daily before beginning his work.
March 15: For the proper use of technology.
March 16: For the ability to forgive others and to seek forgiveness for ourselves when needed.
March 17: On this St. Patrick’s Day, we pray for an increase in sanctity for all of us.
March 18: For those who are facing important decisions. May they be guided with truth and wisdom.
March 19: For the parishes in the Diocese of Marquette, that all parishioners may come together to strengthen our part of the Universal Church.
March 20: For the gift of life. That each new life is seen as a gift from God and welcomed with open arms.
March 21: For our families. May those who are estranged find their way back to one another.
March 22: For our youth as they encounter the challenges that arise daily. Give them wisdom to make good choices.
March 23: For those entering the church at Easter. That their hearts are set on fire with the Holy Spirit, which they will carry out into the world with them.
March 24: For those dealing with infertility.
March 25: For the Holy Souls in Purgatory.
March 26: For happiness. “Truly, God desires much that we be happy; he prizes highly our happiness. He sacrificed his Son to make our souls happy!” -Bishop Baraga
March 27: For an increase in devotion to the Lord through Mass attendance, increase prayer life, and Adoration.
March 28: For our children, that they may be obedient and respectful to their parents and guardians.
March 29: For those in the armed services who have chosen to protect our Country.
March 30: For all workers that they may remember “no work on earth is so important as that we serve Our Lord God and so go one day to heaven. That is just for what we are on earth.”
