Calling all volunteers!
The Bishop Baraga Association (BBA) is in search of volunteers at the Baraga Educational Center (BEC) who are 15 years or older and interested in the life and labors of Bishop Baraga. We are always on the lookout for dynamic, curious individuals who want to be a part of the BBA/BEC team and want to grow their social and spiritual networks in the Marquette Community.
Engage with BEC visitors!
You can share your knowledge and love of learning about Bishop Frederic Baraga and the Upper Peninsula with visitors! With guidance from staff, volunteers will lead tours, give gallery talks, offer fun hands-on experiences, and more. You’ll meet people of all ages from across the U.S. and around the world, helping to follow in Bishop Baraga’s footsteps.
Prefer to contribute behind-the-scenes?
BBA volunteers can serve in many important, non-public roles, working onsite at one of our buildings, collecting data, putting together educational programs, restocking merchandise, caring for the gardens and other critical functions important to the BBA.
